1. Dwight L. Moody (1837-1899)
Dwight L. Moody, the famous American evangelist and preacher, had these final words: "I see earth receding; heaven is opening; God is calling me."
2. John Wesley (1703-1791)
John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, spoke these words as he was dying: "The best of all is, God is with us."
3. D.L. Moody
When he was on his deathbed, D.L. Moody saw a vision of heaven. He exclaimed: “This is my triumph; this is my coronation day! It is glorious!”
4. David Brainerd (1718-1747)
David Brainerd, a missionary to Native Americans, spoke these words before he died: "I am going into eternity, and it is sweet to me to think of eternity."

Adoniram Judson, a missionary to Burma, said: "I go with the gladness of a boy bounding away from school. I feel so strong in Christ."
Acts 6:8-7:60 shows us the final days in the life of Stephen. These scriptures show about the man, how he lived, what he said and how he died.
Even the name Stephen is special it means “a crown” or a “garland” the Greek word was used to describe a reward given to a leader or the crown of glory given to the victor of the Olympic Games.
